Beyond the Page:
Conversations about Indigenous Economic Development
Welcome to Beyond the Page: Conversations about Indigenous Economic Development. We present conversations and discussions focusing on all aspects of economic development within Indigenous communities. This series is sponsored by Cando: the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers and the Journal of Aboriginal Economic Development.
Our hosts for the series are David Newhouse from Trent University and Bettina Schneider from the First Nations University of Canada. We are the editors of the Journal of Aboriginal Economic Development. We talk with authors and Indigenous economic developers featured in the Lessons from Experience section of the journal, as well as authors of research articles in the Lessons from Research section. We also feature interviews with authors of books and interviews with those who prepare the State of the Indigenous Economy articles.
Thank you for joining us. We hope that you enjoy the conversations.
