CALL FOR PRESENTERS

The First Nations University of Canada’s INSW Alumni Practice Group is excited to announce "Igniting the Conversation: Self-Determination in Indigenous Social Work," a significant one-day conference taking place on October 24, 2025, at the Regina campus.

We invite proposals for engaging workshops that celebrate Indigenous knowledge and tackle essential topics such as Child Welfare, Cultural Competence, Health, Advocacy, and more.

If you are interested in leading a workshop and wish to submit a proposal, please include:

Workshop title and description (highlighting its connection to the theme)

Presenter(s) name, bio, and contact details

Key learning outcomes for conference participants

Any technical or material accommodations needed

Application Deadline: August 15, 2025
