Mike Laliberete could be called a ‘fixture’ on the powwow trail. Everyone knew him and sadly, he passed away earlier this week (Aug 21, 2024).

He leaves a great void… and stories about him are being shared by many.

Mike lived on Fishing Lake First Nation in Saskatchewan but as Nelson Bird reports, his home was wherever he was able to share indigenous culture.
