<image:title>Featured Interviews - Marcel Petit: On Existing at the Intersection of art, culture, and community. </image:title>
<image:caption>Today we’re sitting down with a guest whose work lives at the intersection of art, culture, and community. Marcel Petit is a Michif artist whose creative practice is grounded in storytelling, identity, and the strength of Métis and Indigenous ways of knowing. Through his art, he explores history, language, and lived experience — creating pieces that connect people to land, memory, and each other. Alongside his work as an artist, Marcel is also a lecturer at the First Nations University of Canada, where he mentors and teaches the next generation of Indigenous artists, helping students find their own voices and creative paths. Today, we’re talking about his journey, his process, and what it means to create — and teach — Indigenous art in our communities.</image:caption>

<image:title>Featured Interviews - Jenn Harper - Cheekbone Beauty - Jenn Harper, founder of Cheekbone Beauty</image:title>
<image:caption>Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario and relocated to the Niagara Region where she was raised and developed a passion for cosmetics. For Jenn, make-up has become a means of expression that she feels has amazing power. There needed to be a brand that was made in Canada, that was never tested on animals, free of parabens and that gave back to the First Nations community. The brand did not exist, so Jenn created it! Through countless hours over the past two and a half years, Cheekbone Beauty was born! Over the past ten years, Jenn has had successful career in sales and marketing with two large international corporations. During her first week of training session with one of these companies a questionnaire asked: “What is your dream job?” Jenn wrote “To be the CEO of a major cosmetic brand.” At the time, there was no indication that Jenn would eventually set out to build Cheekbone Beauty. During the development of Cheekbone Beauty, Jenn researched the industry as well as charities that are helping close the educational funding gap that exists between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. Jenn found the First Nations Child & Family Caring Society (FNCFCS) and Cheekbone Beauty continues to support the FNCFCS today. During Cheekbone’s infancy, Jenn also suffered a heavy personal loss with the suicide of her brother B.J. This loss, though difficult, has remained a driving force behind Jenn’s desire to see Cheekbone Beauty succeed with its mission. In addition to Cheekbone’s mission, Jenn strives to educate as many Canadians as possible about the Residential School System and the effects it has had on her family and friends through decades of generational trauma. Jenn speaks regularly to university, college and high school students about social entrepreneurship, empathy and the history of her First Nations family. Jenn has also been invited to speak to various entrepreneur groups, women in business associations, Apple Canada, and First Nations organizations across Canada.</image:caption>

<image:title>Featured Interviews - Back in the Studio with Jahkota: New Album & Finding Yourself</image:title>
<image:caption>New Album Jah’kota is releasing a brand new album (EP) titled Echelon. A music project that serves as a financial education album to empower the welfare of people and the planet. A powerful new 4-track EP blending high-class artistry with lyrics rich in economic and entrepreneurial concepts. Each track delivers a bold message of sovereignty, wealth-building, and positive social impact, inspiring the community to reaffirm their power and amplify an era of Indigenous prosperity. Standout Single-Echelon, is built on a foundation of financial education and entrepreneurial perspectives, Echelon speaks to generational wealth and the empowerment of people and the planet. From investing to rising to new heights, Echelon flips the script on outdated narratives, proving that Indigenous leaders are not just participating in the system but redefining it. With lines like “From MP, to Premier, Next is the Prime Minister” and “They started this war and now we’re mastering the art of it”, Echelon is more than just a track—it’s a rallying call for those ready to build generational wealth, take control of their futures, and ascend to new heights. Get ready to level up. The revolution has a soundtrack, and this is it</image:caption>

<image:title>INCA Crash Course - EPISODE 2: Bettina Schneider talks about her role at the 2026 FNUniv Powwow. - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>‘‘I am from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As long as I can remember I’ve always found joy in creative writing. The more I wrote, the more my love for the craft grew. Eventually, I discovered that real-world facts could make fictional stories richer, so in turn, I grew a love for research. With that said, it's no wonder that I went into journalism. Especially since I was always told that if I picked a job I loved I would never work a day in my life. Thanks to the INCA crash course, I am able to get a taste of what being a real journalist might be like, and it brings me joy to say that I love it. If it weren't for the encouragement of my classmates and teachers I wouldn't have known that this course existed or that I could apply to be a part of it, so I am really appreciative to them! The crash course being completely free is such a gift and an asset for my future. In short, I am very grateful that I am able to participate in such a wonderful experience.’’ - Jordan Sargeant, Student</image:caption>
