Oct 10 - 12, 2024 - Our producers Amanda Leader and Lindell Haywahe attended the Tusweca Tiospaye (Black Hills) Conference in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Lakota Dakota Nakota Language Summit was created to unite the Oceti Sakowin (Lakota Dakota Nakota Oyate or Great Sioux Nation) in efforts to revitalize their language by sharing support, strategies and technologies that can be used to successfully create new language speakers.
